This eclectic house was originally the stable for a very grand manor house built in the late nineteenth century in the very heart of Southampton. Over the years it was converted into a home and many additions and modifications followed. This project required a bit of reworking of the plan with more additions and considerable work done to the façades to make them consistent and elegant. The new work included the sun-porch, carriage house and a new front entry piece inspired by the open arbors typical to the original period of the house.
