A
large, rambling beach house was introduced in a disorganized state.
The new design began with a very generous stair built in oak.
This stair gives ceremony to the entry sequence that begins at
the lower level and moves up the great stair to the living room
above with a panoramic view of the ocean. The balance of the house
was renovated and organized into a clean, airy 1930's modern retreat.
Interior design by Dara Stern and Markham Roberts.
